As with most remakes, the second is nothing like the original. I'm so glad Ella's has re-opened, but to anyone who went to the one years ago, there are some major differences. The food was good, but towards the cold side. It would be extremely helpful to have a steak knife to cut the prime rib, and the bar situation was not ideal. Several small improvements would make a huge difference. Drink variety, or even garnishments (as the pictures show), and additional bartenders to discourage such a long line. I also miss the jazz variety. Having multiple musicians, and more brass instruments would be amazing. I look forward to going again in the future, and I hope they continue to learn from previous events to make this as magical as the Ella's 10+ years ago.
