Best Italian meal I’ve had in Philly in a long time. Small and cozy atmosphere. Chef was awesome. Most try the focaccia and meatballs and the chicken pomodoro. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you are contemplating if Elma is the choice for your next culinary experience, contemplate no more. James and team babe created an absolute gem in Philly that I find my self contemplating flying home from California to enjoy. You’re home, sitting in row home that seats a few and watching your family cook. But they are not just cooking to feed the family; they are masterfully assembling masterpieces that will speak for generations to come. Comfort starts with the warmest of welcomes. Once seated, your menu will be bold, direct, short and a preamble to the joy of culinary perfection to come. We jumped in with feet first: foccacia polenta fritter Meatball melon prosciutto bluefin gnudi burger And it was every bit worth the indulgence. Each dish outperformed the last, and the experience was perfectly timed to savory the experience from start to finish. While we are by no means critics, we obsess over the details and gravitate towards a team who pushes the boundaries of traditional cooking. James is doing just that. Price per person: $50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

such a great experience! did the “all in” dinner, & I’d do it again. everything was sooo good & portions were large—had to take some things home to keep it pushing! the “dirty martini” pork chop no words. that chicken parm cutlet was so dreamy. service was amazing, chef came out to check on the table. loved it, can’t wait to come back Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
