Nestled on Via Principe Amedeo near the Vittorio Emanuele metro station, Elsi Bar offers a taste of Eastern China in the heart of Rome. It specializes in Wenzhou cuisine, providing patrons with an array of unique and authentic Chinese dishes that stray from typical offerings found in classic Chinese restaurants. While it welcomes various groups, including families, its atmosphere and dining options make it suitable for gatherings of any kind.
The restaurant opens its doors every day from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM and accepts credit cards, ensuring convenience for all diners. Reviewers have highlighted the distinctive flavors and culinary variety, spotlighting menu items such as dumplings, stir-fried noodles, and rice-based dishes. Though service speed might not be its standout feature, a bar is available to accommodate an assortment of beverages, from espresso to freshly squeezed juices.
Potential guests should consider visiting firsthand due to the scarcity of recent reviews—some dating back nearly a decade—and a lack of current information from the management. Elsi Bar remains a relatively obscure spot on Rome's dining map, and patrons may find they are embarking on a culinary adventure by exploring this little-known establishment.
