We did not eat, just been for drinks in the Garden, but the food menu looked super: good variety, reasonable prices. The food we observed being served to the other tables looked great: fresh and big size portions. We'll definitely be back to eat and also recommend to our friends. The stuff was most polite (we find it rare in Vienna) and the atmosphere just perfect. Price per person: €10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We stayed at the Imperial Riding School Hotel on our stay in Vienna. We arrived late in the evening, and went down to get a bite in the Elstar restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the food was fresh and really very good! We chose to go back a few nights later, and again it did not disappoint. On the two nights we had the elstar salad, steaks, the cheese board, schnitzel and the grilled asparagus. All were excellent, and our requests for modification were not a problem. The restaurant is a lovely space, with indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of room between the tables. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
