Being new to the area and reading positive reviews, I decided to visit over three separate occasions, Eltham Fish and Chips. I couldn’t be more disappointed in the process and hence quality of product when I finally got it. 1. Ordered over the phone - good 2. Given a time to pick up - good 3. Arrived at time given. Waited in a que to pay for minimum of 10 minutes. 4. Could see F&C sitting on rack above fryer. 5. Seven minutes later the souvlaki I had ordered was placed on top of F&C 6. Six minutes after this the Hamburger that I ordered was ready and placed with F&C and souvlaki. 7. Not one staff member proceeded to seek the “owner” of order”103” ( on the last visit), until I actually spoke up and asked for my order that was clearly on view. As noted, I have given this premises the benefit of the doubt on three separate occasions to no avail. Sadly I will not be spending my $65 on “steamed”/ oily F&C, soggy pita souvlaki and inappropriate attention. Major re-organisation and communication needs to happen with the staff having everything being ready together and working together as a team.
