The lunch experience was very nice. Every dish has its special taste although it is all Lebanese yet you can feel that there is a special touch for every dish. It is average value for money similar to Lebanese restaurants in the area. The service was fast, friendly, and cooperative. Even the Shisha service was nice and fast. Recommended for a quiet cozy lunch. We were four, and we ordered only one Shisha. We added coffee after lunch. I really appreciate their entree and recommend a tiny sweet after lunch. It doesn’t have to be fancy or anything. It can be similar to the entree or simply a plate of mixed seasonal fruits similar to what many other Lebanese restaurants serve after lunch. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: KWD 30–35 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: There is a variety of vegetarian options that are tasty. Dietary restrictions: It is basically Lebanese food so if you are not into sour or pomegranate, you can stick to the mixed grill.

We visited the restaurant Em Zalfa at Al Salam Mall in Salmiya yesterday with high expectations because the décor and overall aesthetics are truly beautiful. Unfortunately, the service did not match the setting at all. When we arrived, there was no one at the entrance to greet or seat us. A lady in a suit saw us waiting but chose not to assist. We stood there for quite some time before anyone came to seat us. After being seated, we had to call the staff ourselves to take our order, as no one checked on us. The staff were not attentive, and our order was incorrect multiple times. We first ordered three sodas, but only one arrived. When our food came, the wrong meals were brought to our table, twice. We had to send the food back both times, and no one came to apologize or acknowledge the mistake. Throughout the visit, the staff appeared unfriendly, and inattentive. Even when we asked for the check, we were left waiting for so long that we eventually had to stand up to get someone’s attention. To make matters worse, when we finally received the check and reviewed it, we noticed that they had charged us for food we did not order and did not eat. The incorrect meals that were brought to our table and sent back were added to our check as well. The food itself was average and did not make up for the poor service. It was disappointing because the restaurant’s ambiance is lovely, and we were genuinely excited to try it. Sadly, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Kuwait, and it is not a place I would choose to visit again. Meal type: Lunch Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
