We visit Galena frequently, and always plan a lunch at Embe. My husband and I share two of their fabulous cream soups (mushroom, seafood, bleu cheese) and a bread pudding. It's always a home run! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We stopped in Galena for the night. After exploring downtown we were hungry for a light meal. The Embe eatery and Lounge was a great find . Relaxing atmosphere. Some nights they have live music. Great service. Large selection of Martinis , reasonably priced. We each had a sandwich. I had the Sawyer, pastrami, Cole slaw and Swiss cheese on the perfect roll. I had a side of slaw. Other options available. My partner had pulled pork with a side of chips. Excellent service. I couldn't refuse the bread pudding. It was prepared perfectly.
