We chose Ember for our wedding reception and couldn't have been happier with our decision. We booked the private dining experience at Under the Embers for 22 guests, and everything was outstanding from start to finish. The food was absolutely incredible – we opted for the feasting menu, which offered an amazing variety of beautifully cooked dishes. There was so much delicious food, and the quality was exceptional, making it fantastic value for money. A special mention has to go to James, the manager, who was exceptional throughout the entire planning process and on the day itself. Nothing was too much trouble, and he went above and beyond to ensure everything ran perfectly and that we and our guests had a truly memorable experience. Evo, our barman for the evening, was also superb – friendly, attentive and a real asset to the team. The resident DJ was fantastic too, playing a brilliant mix of music throughout the evening that kept the atmosphere lively and our guests entertained. Hosting a wedding reception comes with high expectations, and Ember exceeded every one of them. Our guests have commented on how wonderful the food, service and atmosphere were, and we couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate such a special occasion. If you're looking for somewhere to celebrate a special occasion, or simply enjoy an outstanding meal, I can't recommend Ember highly enough. I’ll admit we’re not easily impressed (!), but this restaurant blew us away. We sat as a couple downstairs at the bar and had the most perfect evening. Upstairs was pretty loud, but downstairs was more intimate whilst still having a great atmosphere. Every plate we ordered was incredible, the cocktails were brilliant and the service couldn’t have been better.
