Just had dinner with the wife at Ember restaurant (31 Oct 2025, 6pm reservation). Service was 1st class. Our last night in NZ. Ordered the Shoulder of Lamb in buttery honey glaze and a 2nd of Seasonal Vegetables. Divine, very simply divine. The meat was so very tender and just simply melted in the mouth, the taste simply pot on. This was the cherry on the icing after after almost 3 weeks starting from Auckland all the way to Queenstown. Compliments to both the front of house and kitchen staff. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: NZ$30–40
