Besides Ferny Hill Farm, Visit Emchai. The Chinese and Malaysian cuisine is what you are offered to degust. At this restaurant, try the tasty sesame duck and delicious squid. See with your own eyes that the staff is friendly. Zomato shows a rating of 3.80 for Emchai proving that this is a nice place to visit.

Over the years and eating Chinese as regularly as I do I've grasped that consistency is key, which as has caused me to alternate my regular supply. I've lost count of the amount of Chinese places I have been a "regular". Emchai has never been a regular, I don't think I've ever been more than once a month or fewer.
And I wouldn't want it to be! Because Emchai is the place we save,we even cherish those special occasions for, it doesn't matter how much time has passed since our last visit or take away, Emchai is still enough to get the family so excited that today everyone is home early, agonising and eagerly awaiting the door bell to sound and see dad step through the door with 2 bags full and the smell fill the room.
It's not just that the food looks, smells and tastes fantastic, it's different. There are very few dishes on the menu that you can compare similarity to anywhere nearby. I guarantee whatever your favourite dish is, Emchai make it better! As for the restaurant itself modern and stylish it compliments the food perfectly.
When I first went to Emchai, the food was amazing, the starters platter was excellent, hot and fresh while the main course was cooked really well and tasted fresh.
Now it seems that they are cutting corners like the starters platter, some aspects taste that they were frozen and just heated up, the main course like the beef and black bean sauce was very rubbery and over cooked. The service wasn't great we're they haven't got enough staff in busy periods.
Seems to me that they have changed chefs over the years and the quality has been let done.
