(5/5) – A Lush, Plant-Filled Haven with Amazing Pastries! Emily Darling Cafe completely stands out from the usual George Town cafe scene. The space is beautifully decorated with tons of lush green plants, giving it a peaceful, unique, and relaxing garden vibe. The Food • For Pastry Lovers: If you like Danish pastries and croissants, this is the place to be. They are incredibly flaky, buttery, and fresh. • Wholesome Breakfast: They serve up a hearty and rather healthy breakfast that leaves you satisfied without feeling heavy. Great ingredients and beautiful presentation. Verdict: Between the stunning botanical atmosphere and the top-notch bakes, it’s the perfect spot for a slow, quality breakfast in Penang. Highly recommend! Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: RM 20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Chanced upon this cafe while heading back to our hotel and was tempted by the pastries in the window decided to pop in and try, beautiful interior, well decorated with nice relaxing music, staff is also really friendly and helpful. Husband ordered a tuna puff and I ordered a pain au chocolat, we also shared a pot of apple rose tea. They heat up the pastries and for the savoury puff they also added a small side of veggies which i thought was nice, husband really enjoyed his tuna puff although he wished it was a little crispier, tuna to pastry ratio was just nice and he finished everything. The pain au chocolat was nice and flaky with a good amount of chocolate and the hazelnuts on top was a nice touch was a really nice dessert. Nice cafe to relax and chill, tea was alot for both of us but we enjoyed snapping pictures and relaxing. Meal type: Other Price per person: RM 20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
