Had a roast dinner at Emily’s. Service was excellent had a lovely boy with curly hair. Food was pleasant could have done to have been hotter though. Gravy was really watery too ? Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

5-star review for Emily’s We went to Emily’s yesterday and had such a lovely experience. The food was great, but what really stood out was the staff and the care they took with my coeliac disease. I’m coeliac (not just gluten-free), and they were absolutely brilliant. They made sure my food was prepared in a separate area to avoid cross-contamination, and they were so knowledgeable and reassuring throughout. They even came back to our table to let me know that one item wasn’t suitable after checking, and immediately offered a safe alternative. That level of care meant so much and made me feel completely comfortable eating there. The whole team were so friendly, attentive and genuinely wanted to make sure everything was right. It’s not often you find a restaurant that takes coeliac safety this seriously. Thank you I’d definitely recommend Emily’s, especially if you’re coeliac. I don't get out much, in fact, it was my first ever travel out today: 14/07/2026 It was a big thing for me to do personally, so I wanted to make the day meaningful and memorable, for that... I did my research on places to eat in Formby, and I chose Emily's of all the places I could be... And I'm so glad that I chose to come here... It's undeniably beautiful within the interior design, the food was abcerlutly amazing (and especially for the price), but better yet, it's the people who work here, that make the vibe of the environment, complete!️ Emily of Formbys, you've done yourselves so proud ... Abcerlutly amazing people, with the best accent in the UK —and that truly shows at a soul level within your people! ️. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £10–20
