The flavored coffee had a somewhat flat, low-quality taste that didn’t really stand out. The caramel in my spouse’s coffee was barely noticeable, and the peppermint mocha frappe tasted mostly like light almond milk and ice rather than a rich, flavored drink. Unfortunately, I’ve had more flavorful specialty drinks from local convenience stores. The lighting in the shop was acceptable overall, but the hanging ceiling lights were uncomfortably bright. There also appears to be a coffee bean dispensing machine with an iPad interface, but there were no instructions on how to use it, and it was password-protected. No staff member offered assistance, which was disappointing — especially since it seems like a feature that could be a great draw for customers if properly supported. Stopped on our drive from Colorado Springs to Albuquerque. My kids can be somewhat picky for breakfast so we decided to stop at a coffee shop we came across on Google Maps. It took us awhile to order as our kids were being indecisive. Our kids ordered the French Dip and ate every bite! We did substitute the Swiss cheese for mozzarella. They loved it! I ordered the Italian Panini and it was delicious! My husband ordered the breakfast burrito. While it was somewhat dry, the salsa helped. He just needed more salsa. Overall, great little place!
