These were some of the best craft beers we tried on our trip to several cities in Japan. The food also far exceeded expectations. There is another place in town that comes up when you search brewery, but it does not hold a candle to Endeavor. I'm very picky about beer as a half-Ger an , and I did not try a beer here that I wouldn't drink again. If they still have it, try the Minori. They also made an excellent bitter. I think for me, the unexpected star of the food show was the hakodate help and black bean snack. Crispy, with a bit a saltiness and umami , it was an unusual and compatible snack to have with beer. Of course the staff was also very friendly. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Try the kelp and black bean snack or the potatoes.

We found this little bar by chance when walking down from the Hakodate Ropeway to the Cruise Port. It has a very nice selection of craft beers and a very friendly owner with enough English to enjoy a chat with. I will give his Double IPA 10 out of 10 and Helen could not make up her mind which beer was her favourite. We took away 3 bottles which he filled before our eyes. I could not recommend this bar highly enough or its friendly owner. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Managed to fit a visit in to Endeavour on our way back from an izakaya because it looked too good to ignore and it was fantastic! Food was delicious and the beers were all very different and tasty. The worker was a very lovely & friendly lady who helped us order food & beers. Very friendly to foreigners. Another lovely spot in Hakodate! Thanks for the food!
