We went here for dinner. And o my gosh, this is pure comfort food. Regional, home made food, incredible! There was a special menu for our kids of 2 and 5 which they enjoyed. You get to make your own salad at a salad bar. Also very friendly staff

The owner of this cute traditional gasthof went above and beyond to make sure our family had an enjoyable stay – recommending kid-friendly activities, lending us an umbrella, offering the kids lollipops each day, etc. If you’re planning a trip to the Black Forest, I’d highly recommend a stay at Gasthof Engel. Their level of hospitality is rare these days. Service: 5
