The restaurant has a new owner. The high price is disproportionate to the food on the plate. (In a pasta dish for 18.50 I found 2 1/2 pieces of meat measuring 2 x 2 cm). I am very disappointed. I was really looking forward to the food, but it was Italian cuisine in the highest price segment and of the worst quality. The food wasn't fresh, the salad was carelessly thrown onto the plate from industrial packaging, the carpaccio was wrinkled and yellow-purple on the edge, the asparagus was burnt, the schnitzel was tough and limp. Not a second time! Price-performance ratio and service were not right. Regular guests who followed the boss were personally greeted at the table with limoncello. We didn't even get a "hello" from the boss. Guests should be treated immediately with attention! Although there weren't many tables occupied, we had to wait a long time for our starter and main course. Here, too, well-known guests were given priority and received their food earlier, even though they arrived after us. The food was okay, nothing more. A birthday party that arrived while we were there caused a hectic rush and overwhelmed the staff. For example, our starter plates were only cleared away shortly before the main course, empty glasses were not seen... When we tried to pay by card, we were repeatedly asked for cash. Apparently the card reader doesn't always work reliably. We asked to try it and it worked smoothly. We always used to enjoy eating at Englers. Unfortunately it has lost its charm.
