Very nice neighborhood wine bar. I appreciated that the tables were marked with reservation times. Since we were only having a glass of wine and small bite, this worked out really well for us as we were able to sit at a patio table until the reserved time. The staff was extremely helpful despite us not knowing Italian. We did feel a bit like we were impeding on a locals bar, but the staff helped us as best they could and it all worked out well. We were glad we came across this great find and it was nice to get out of the tourist-heavy city center for the night. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €10–20

La Mescita is vibey, friendly and delicious. We had one of the best wines I’ve ever had in my life and the service matched the wine. So good we came back twice on our weekend trip and if ever back in Rome will return! Love it here. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
