Then, a very nervous waiter came to me using mostly hand gestures and asked me to put my leg down because the owner had complained. I had no problem respecting the request, but the way the whole situation was handled was extremely awkward and unprofessional.
I came to enjoy a meal, not to feel watched or judged. Unfortunately, the attitude of the owner and his group completely ruined the experience.
