Spread across two stylish, colourful rooms conceived by a Polish theatre designer – one bright blue, one in warmer hues – this restaurant inside the Raffles Europejski hotel takes its inspiration from the Polish cookbooks of yesteryear. Classic recipes like roasted goose are listed on the menu next to their dates of origin, but given a modern spin in their execution... More info

A wonderful experience, I think it is a must for anyone who wants to get to know and try real Old Polish cuisine. Fantastic kitchen. Indescribable taste sensations. Additionally, brilliant, discreet and at the same time professional service. And of course, we left the restaurant richer in culinary experiences but also in the knowledge provided by the chef Dietary restrictions: Adapted to all allergies Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: zł 200+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A phenomenal place that is created with great passion and commitment of chef Marcin Przybysz. Old Polish cuisine at its best, the taste and visual experiences are indescribable. You have to see for yourself. It is a dinner that stimulates the senses and stays in your memory for a long time. Additionally, the Chef talks and shows his workshop literally from the kitchen. We will be happy to come back again. I highly recommend it - the best restaurant in Warsaw. The products are 100% selected and from proven sources, most importantly, the boss supports what is ours, Polish, and he has great respect for it. This restaurant embodies everything wrong with fine dining. If you’re after a culinary experience that offers genuinely good food rather than Instagram-worthy photos, this is not the place. This was my first ever tasting menu where I left feeling hungry. The quality of the ingredients, cooking techniques, and seasoning were all below par. It felt like 90% of their effort went into the visual presentation rather than the actual flavors. Every dish looked perfect—like a little piece of art that surely took a lot of effort—but ultimately disappointed with underwhelming, mild flavors. For example, the duck main course was so bland; the duck breast itself was chewy and tasteless, and the garnish did nothing to enhance it, apart from looking pretty. Even the bread course, served with an overcomplicated butter, was disappointing. It looked great and smelled good, but the bread itself was just okay—lacking salt and flavor. Honestly, you could find a better loaf at a random bakery. I guess it’s not just the quality of the cooking, but also the ingredients themselves that fall short. The duck we were served and the flour used to make the bread seemed to be of poor quality. Additionally, the pacing between courses was odd; we waited far too long for the first few dishes to arrive. While the service was what you’d expect from a two-star Michelin establishment, it lacked a touch of genuine finesse and felt a bit robotic. There are other great restaurants in Warsaw much more worth a visit than Epoka and offering absolutely better value for your money. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: zł 200+

We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, especially since we strive to make every visit to our restaurant exceptional. We would also like to address a few points. You chose the "Short History" menu, which is a lighter version of our full tasting menu. It’s unfortunate that any concerns were not brought to our attention during the meal, especially since you had direct contact with the Chef at the Chef’s Table. This would have allowed us to address any issues and tailor the experience to your preferences. Regarding the quality of ingredients, we take great pride in ensuring they undergo daily, meticulous inspections, and we work only with top local and seasonal suppliers. Our dishes, including the bread and meats, are prepared with a focus on the highest quality and taste. While presentation is an important part of our philosophy, we always prioritize flavor and the authenticity of the culinary experience. We appreciate your comments about the pacing between courses and will review this aspect to ensure a smoother flow. We are glad that the level of service met your expectations, though we always strive to combine professionalism with genuine, personal engagement. Every opinion is valuable to us, so we thank you for sharing your perspective. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future, perhaps to experience our full tasting menu, which offers a more complete representation of what our cuisine has to offer.More
