Foodpanda pick-up. The takeaway box is shimmery. Lemon donut: Bigger than my palm, decently sized donut for the price. Slightly firm structure , probably a day or two older. Faint lemony filling cream inside. The filling is mildly sweet & not tart at all, not even a hint, as expected from a lemon dessert, probably because tart/sour-tasting lemon, other citrus fruit & berry desserts aren't popular in this country like they are in Western countries, people just don't like sour notes in their desserts here! The donut icing is exactly like what you'll find in a donut chain like Krispy Kreme- thick, fondant- like & very sweet. Mocha donut: Same size as the lemon one, filled with coffee tasting cream in the centre. Dark chocolate cake: Mediocre cake with basic boxed cake mix sponge that's quite dry, tastes slightly salty (?!) & smells slightly savoury (from the savoury goods sold around in-store, I guess). In contrast to cakes from other stores, the topping is almost entirely fondant based instead of buttercream, with edible sugar pearls. They must really like using fondant at Epytoast! It's a chocolate cake but not necessarily dark chocolate. It's OK overall but you can get better for the same price elsewhere.
