Last night we had dinner for the first time in the new place. We had already been to the old location and we always had a good time...until yesterday. 5 of us went, including a little girl, and we were unable to eat together: even the dishes of the little girl and a friend of ours arrived after 2 hours (after 11pm) and only following reminders. I understand the full house on Saturday evening and that a bit of a wait is normal, but we heard the screams coming from the kitchen (a furious argument between the cook and the waiter/s) and no one deigned to give an explanation. After the umpteenth request for information on the two missing courses, we were told that the cook had felt ill and that they had replaced him with "anyone". At the time of paying the bill (no discount of course), the owner told us that her husband (aka the cook) had had a bad day, that he had made a mistake but it can happen, that you have to be understanding, etc. Of course the inconvenience it can happen, but warning would have been a kind act. Offering dessert (2 tiramisu and a sorbet) would have made us inclined to return. For us Er Mattatoio ends here Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Atmosphere: 3
