From what I read in reviews, I find amusing the very careful sentences in the “story” of the shop, telling the story of Eric Rose without claiming however that he is associated with the cafe. It is like me opening a random pizza place and calling it… Robert De Niro. Taking advantage of the aloha spirit, I guess. Very surprising, to put it mildly, for Japan. Wait, I know. There is a Bill Gates school in Hanoi. Same thing.
