The family stopped by Eric's Office Restaurant for dinner on a Monday night, and we were seated immediately. The dining room was attractively decorated in a chic black-and-gray color scheme, with rustic antique signage from local businesses, and old-timey vinyl "newspaper" print tablecloths. Service was speedy and friendly, without being rushed. My husband ordered a custom crispy chicken sandwich, my son ordered chicken tenders, and I had one of the pricier specials of the day -- mussels and shrimp in a tomato broth, served over linguine with garlic crostini. Each of us was thoroughly satisfied with our meal. My pasta dish had a more generous amount of seafood than I expected -- four very large shrimp and at least 2 dozen mussels, all cooked to perfection, and the tomato broth was rich and well-seasoned. (I would have appreciated it if the shrimp tails had been removed in the kitchen, since taking them off after the shrimp were submerged in broth was a messy and unhygienic business.) My son's chicken tenders were an inexpensive appetizer menu item, but arrived in such quantity that he was unable to finish them. We look forward to stopping back again.
