Erofíli is a great restaurant in the heart of the old town of Retymnon. The ambience is really beautiful with the three in the front of the restaurant and the rooftop where you can eat and have a drink at the bar. The service is super great and the waiters give good advice about the food and drinks. When your done with your meal, you can have a drink at the bar. The bartender makes the best (signature) cocktails and is verry friendly. We felt verry welcome at this restaurant, precisely by the staff. Had dinner at Erofil in Rethymno on a Saturday evening and it was a great experience! We ordered their signature Erofili salad – a delicious seafood salad – and stuffed aubergine (Melitzana Gemisti), both beautifully prepared. We had a bottle of the local white wine Great Hawk to go with the food, which paired perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive. Total came to 56,50€ for food and a bottle of wine, which feels very reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Rethymno! Stunning location, scenery was beautiful, great to people watch whilst enjoying a slow greek meal! Would recommend, I had Beef stifado & BF had Salmon fillet Beef not as traditional as expected but still very tasty Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–25 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
