Escentrice Hostel is really cool and stylish. Also the people who work there are lovely and helpful. I had to check in 6am, which was okay. They have 24h front desk. And in addition to style - it is important to mention that every bed is situated in its own private space. So I totally reccommend this spacious space in Merida to whomever :) Service: 5

Best hostel I’ve stayed at during my travels! No bunk beds, and it honestly felt more like a private room. The staff were incredibly kind, especially Jen, who went above and beyond for me. I would absolutely come back , mainly because of her! Quiet hostel and surrounding. Highly recommend. Service: 5

The hostel is beautiful, you can see they put a lot of effort into the design. There’s an amazing garden with pool. The service seemed to be a little absent, there was a problem in our room, a person who shouldn’t been there (or so it seemed), and the way it was handled brings some questions about security. The room is merged with the bathroom, which doesn’t have doors, so you can hear everything. No worries, there are doors to the toilets and showers Service: 4
