Tiny welcoming bar with super cool decor hidden down a narrow alleyway. Very cosy for a relaxing beer or cocktail. The friendly owner is Spanish with long experience of living in Japan and the intimate space invites guests to chat with each other. It's like being in your coolest friend's funky living room. A true gem in Kyoto. Definitely go. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Look, I never review anything but I feel compelled to here because this place is currently rated 4.9 on Google and it completely fails in it's basic function of serving booze. Forget delicious, forget design, forget everything else. The cocktail had no alcohol in it!! This is simply not a bar. Just a guy in a room serving colored water and charging for it. See the picture of my old fashioned as served. Decor is 10/10 though, so go for that but just know you will be sober. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
