My boyfriend and I walked past the restaurant every morning and evening during our stay in Kefalonia last week, and after seeing how full the restaurant was each night we decided to book a table and try out their food.
I had the spetsofai Greek sausage starter and carbonara for my main with a side of garlic pita bread and a glass or two of house rosé. It was perfect! So much so that we booked another table for our last night on the island. Again, the food was delicious and the service fantastic. I even tried a glass of their hand pressed orange juice which was divine. The temptation of being surrounded by the beautiful fresh fruit in the trees made it impossible to resist.
If I visit Kefalonia again I will certainly be returning to Esperides restaurant. But until then, I will miss their food very much.
