Some customer service education is needed for one staff member (all others were lovely). Smile. Do not snatch plates away and hustle ppl out, saying you're closing at ONE THIRTY. Ruined what should have and could have been a pleasant birthday treat. Won't be back in a hurry. When money is tight, going out should be pleasant and service should be friendly. *I posted this before you rang back, actually.

Sandra in reply you phoned me, but you have to post to social media as well, is this about you or us? very disappointed that you have to do this after phoning me, i have talked to the staff member and as a person she apologies, if you chose to go somewhere else based on these comments then the choice is yours remember you phoned me, why did you post it after that?

The staff are so lovely and always smiling having a good time thats what makes a good work place! Food is always consistent, the best eggs bene I have ever had! Perfectly cooked poached eggs Music is good Essence cafe is such a really nice cafe with yummy food lovely staff and awesome chefs that know how to deliver a delicious meal! , 10/10 I would recommend ! Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: NZ$20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

DISGUSTED charged 50 cts for 30 ml of cold milk! requested small jug cold milk to go with Long Black. Cost of milk to cafe say 5 cts max. 50 cts come on!
All other cafes we frequent NO CHARGE.
