With each bite an explosion of knowledge. I only ate vegetarian dishes, from starters to dessert. They also have non-vegetarian options. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €40–45 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place is a neighbourhood gem that definitely deserves a special trip out of the city. The food was excellent - we couldn’t resist trying the port risotto; also had the pesto tagliatelle which were both exceptional. we were very well looked after with blankets for the chilly evening and very attentive service. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are the priority, loads of choice. Some meat options available. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €45–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Restaurante Essência is perfect for people of all diets! I have some dietary restrictions and they ensured that I was fully accommodated. The food was delicious, our server was amazing and the ambiance is fantastic. They have both vegetarian and meat dishes, as well as a great list of wines, beers and other beverages. Would highly recommend!
