The Essex Skipper in Frinton-on-Sea is a charming establishment that serves up delectable pub grub at a reasonable price. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with friendly staff who are eager to please. The interior design is newly refurbished and boasts a seaside theme, complete with cute huts in the garden area. The menu has a limited selection, but the food is well-cooked and nicely presented. Some standout dishes include the Sunday roast, the cod loin and chips, and the burgers. For drinks, guests can enjoy a variety of soft drinks, wines, and cocktails, such as the classic mojito or the refreshing elderflower spritz. The location is convenient, with plenty of parking nearby. Special features include outdoor seating and live music on occasion. All in all, the Essex Skipper is a fine dining spot that is definitely worth a visit.
I went to the essex skipper last week and was appalled by the food.i ordered the steak and ale pie.at first it was good but the middle was still cold so clearly wasnt cooked properly. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
