I recently dined at a Vayat restaurant and was blown away by the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the generous portions left me feeling satisfied. What a cozy and friendly spot in Coquitlam to discover some Balkan/Eastern European eats! I would have not discovered this place without the lovely surprise dinner planned by one of my besties. If you haven't tried Balkan cuisine before Ethno Restaurant Vayat is worth a visit to immerse yourself in some authentic dishes! And if you are a meat lover even better! They have plenty of options and portions are generous! We ordered the Vayat Meat Platter + Chicken Schnitzel in Gorgonzola Sauce. The platter has an assortment of meat -about 5 different types of meat. Platter for 1 was plenty share for two people. And that sauce in the schnitzel was soo creamy and rich. Any leftover sauce is perfect for dipping your fries/bread and you won't be able to help stop scraping every last bit of it off your plate to enjoy!
