One of the best street food I’ve ever had, honestly. I got the “piggy” burger and it was incredibly tasteful. Pork was extremely tender and falling apart to fibers, caramelised onions were a vary nice touch of sweetness, bbq sauce tied it all up together very well. Spicy burger was just a very good burger. Chicken nuggets came in a huge box, I didn’t expect this much food. And it was all cheap, too (a little bit too cheap even). Service was great and overall vibe was there. Highly recommend this place. I'm from the USA and wanted a burger then found Exberg Burger. While I'm not typically a fan of smashed burgers, these tasted great and the meat was clearly fresh and just ground beef, not some springy sausage-like beef mixture or seasoned with herbs like is common for a Greek "burger". I just needed to add a second patty to meet my expectations for burger thickness. Most days, I imagine a single patty burger would be enough, but I like the texture so, two patties for me. Even with the exchange rate being in favor of euros (aka, more expensive in dollars), dining here was less expensive than burgers back in the states at places like Five Guys or local shops in CA. Also, I prefer this location to the burger joints closer to the Acropolis where there can be a crush of people. I've dined here probably 5 times (well, did take out because there is very little seating with not much space — there's inside seating against a wall, a couple tables, a counter with a few stools, and a large pass-through window you can stand outside of). It's a small shop and you can see everything happening with your order. Brioche bun was perfection. Just perfect for a burger. Toppings were fresh and delicious. They customized my burgers for me as requested and got the changes right. Like most burger places, I just need to remember to request extra iceberg, ketchup, and mustard because that's how I like my burgers (a bit messy). Fries were decent, but not quite what I hoped for, which is almost always the case with fries that are not hand-cut fresh and double cooked. Still, I order them when I want them and am happy enough! No complaints, just preference. If you like fries from most fast food in the US or other places, you'll probably enjoy these fries too! Price per person: €10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
