This Ezell's location may be the nicest one for experiencing the vibe they are trying to go for with their brand identity, with pics of celebrities that have visited on the walls. Food is excellent, as always. The chicken tenders from Ezell's may actually be the best I've had, and the bun recipe they use is just like my great grandmother's, so it is a slice of the midwest out here for me. However... This is easily the slowest Ezell's. I don't really mind a bit of a wait, but *especially* compared to how fast the other Ezell's zip you in and out of their store, it's almost whiplash. I am very happy with Ezell's chicken and the only real negative I have is that the bigger chicken orders should include more than 1 sauce and it feels really cheap to have to buy extra. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I stopped by Ezell's Famous Chicken on Rainier Ave in Renton just minutes ago to grab dinner for my family, and I'm genuinely impressed by Kevin Lara's exceptional service I was staring at the menu trying to figure out how I could get what they asked for but was confused about the pricing. As I stepped out of line to reconsider my options, Kevin noticed my hesitation right away and said, "I got you covered, man." Instead of being dismissive or just waiting for me to decide, he actively helped me navigate the menu. Kevin walked me through several meal combinations, patiently explaining which options would give us the most value. He even helped me find a way to include all the specific sides my kids had requested without spending too much. His attention to detail and genuine desire to help made what could have been a frustrating ordering experience into a pleasant one. In today's world where people usually just go through the motions at work, Kevin's sincere thoughtfulness and customer-first attitude really stood out. The food was great, but Kevin’s customer service is what will definitely bring me back. Thanks for going above and beyond, Kevin!
