First time visitor, and arrived quite excited, because a colleague recommended them. Ordered 4 burgers, 2 cappuccinos and 2 hot chocolate drinks. Burgers arrived, looking tasty, cappuccinos shortly after that. I however had to remind the staff of my children's drinks. Ordered chips separately coz burgers were chipless. Burgers were soggy and tasteless, with a patty so thin, it literally looked lost between the bun and veggies..... Chips arrived hot and looked good but I've tasted better, rushed through the hot oil, what looked like crispy chips were actually well done on the outside and half done on the inside. Staff was loud but friendly though. Last time visitor and left disappointed. .

I agree with the negative review of Burgers on Saturday. The patty was raw and made the bun wet and soggy, so I sent it back and discarded the roll and condiments. We chose not to complain further since our appetite was ruined and we didn’t want to upset other patrons. The group at the next table also didn’t eat their burgers and took them away after agreeing they weren’t good. The chips were cooked but underdone and cold, as if they were meant to be twice-fried but only got the first fry. There was a power outage, but we checked and were told the kitchen was still operational.

I visited FC in a state of desperation today and was met with friendliness, courtesy and good food! Thank you guys for your assistance and caring hearts! That meal provided sufficient energy to walk the 27km to my destination, where I arrived safely! There's parking right in front of the shop, so you can sit and have your meal with peace of mind while having your vehicle in sight. Seating is spacious and visually appealing. The food is of high quality and I could taste the intimate balance of spices used; adding flavour, but not killing the actual taste of the food. Chips were nice and crispy outside, but soft inside. If you're in the area again, be sure to grab something to eat at Flame Café! You will not be disappointed! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Take out Meal type: Brunch
