After a long walk around Yuzen Shrine, visit this restaurant and have a rest here. If you have never come across Japanese cuisine, you should reserve a table at FUKUROU Atami. Have perfectly cooked fish, seafood and fried mackerel at this place when you happen to be near it.

I visited FUKUROU Atami with some acquaintances and got to enjoy a wonderful kaisendon after a long time. The kaisendon, packed with fresh ingredients, was superb, offering a taste of the sea with every bite. The fresh tuna and salmon placed on top of the rice were especially exquisite, melting in my mouth, while the salty burst of the popping salmon roe perfectly complemented the fresh seafood. The accompanying soft chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) had a warm and deep flavor that paired beautifully with the main dish, and even the simple side dishes showed a delicate touch. The restaurant staff were friendly and always smiling, and the lively yet organized atmosphere made me feel the authentic charm of a Japanese tourist destination.
