I didn't really want to write a review, as I wanted to keep the little gem that is Fab Delight all to ourselves, but that would be unfair on the restaurant that deserves a decent writeup. So here goes... the Sri Lankan dishes are authentic, my Sri Lankan partner says it's almost as good as his mum & dad's cooking. The Indo-Chinese crossover dishes aren't, in my opinion, as good as the Sri Lankan ones but that's my personal preference.
The service can sometimes be a bit forgetful but a gentle reminder and the lack of cutlery or a missing chutney is sorted very quick. The family who run the restaurant are absolutely delightful people and the food is truly delicious (and reasonably priced!). Fab Delight is our new local regular place to eat when we have a "couldn't be bothered cooking" night. Our friends love it too, it's nice to have somewhere that's a south asian equivalent of a restaurant in Footscray in Werribee.
Warning: always call and book beforehand on a Friday or Saturday night, they can get very busy. It's extremely popular with the local south asian community and for very good reason!

We had a recent function at this restaurant. Staff were very friendly, food was great, they were very helpful throughout the preparation of the function. Table setting, food buffet choice etc. Price was affordable. We enjoyed the night as the restaurant dine in was closed to make room for our function,they only did take away for other customers. This initiative was taken by the staff so we appreciated it. High standard service would recommend to all.
