We are glad the sunset views and our lasagna stood out for you — the lasagna is indeed made with great love and care, and we are proud of it! Regarding the pizza, we are surprised to hear this as it is consistently one of our most praised dishes, made fresh daily with dough we stretch in house every single morning. We would have loved the opportunity to address this during your visit. As for the drinks selection, we do carry a curated wine and prosecco list and are always working to expand and elevate our offerings — we will take your feedback on board. On the atmosphere, Fabio’s is proudly a warm and relaxed Italian dining experience — we believe great food doesn’t need to be stiff or formal to be authentic. Regarding the flies — as an outdoor terrace overlooking the Marina, this can occasionally be a challenge, especially in warmer months, and we are continuously working on solutions to improve the comfort of our outdoor seating. Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry the experience did not meet your expectations, however we would like to address a few points. Our management team did approach your table and attempt to resolve the situation during your visit. We would kindly ask — if the dishes were truly inedible, why were they finished before raising a concern? Had you flagged the issue while dining, we would have been more than happy to replace the dishes immediately. Regarding the pasta, there are two ways of cooking it — al dente, which is slightly firmer as is traditional in Italian cuisine, and more well done. Had you simply requested it cooked further, our kitchen would have gladly accommodated you. As for the Bucatini Cacio e Pepe — this is a classic Roman dish made authentically with only two ingredients: Pecorino Romano cheese and black pepper. Pecorino by its very nature is a bold, salty and tangy cheese — that is precisely what makes this dish what it is. If you were not familiar with Pecorino, we would always encourage our guests to ask our team before ordering so we can guide you through the menu. Fabio's is an Italian family-owned restaurant.
