Hi Rio,I (the general manager of FABLE) personally handled your phone call and repeated “Friday” multiple times, in accordance with our booking procedure. Your reservation was therefore entered for the day that was clearly discussed, not mistakenly moved by the restaurant.Saturday evening had already been fully booked since before the beginning of the week. A table for 15 people at 7:30pm, our busiest period, was never available and could not reasonably have been promised at such short notice.We appreciate that discovering the booking was not for the evening you intended would have been disappointing. However, disappointment does not make the restaurant responsible, nor are we obliged to admit fault simply because declining to do so may result in multiple one-star reviews from members of the same party.In my personal view, reviews should provide an honest account of what occurred, not be used to pressure a business into accepting blame or offering compensation where no error was made.
