I stopped by Faema Caffè to grab a coffee and check out the vibe, and the first thing that stood out was how cool the place feels once you step inside. It has a unique, welcoming atmosphere, and I liked that it’s family-run. They serve coffee, food, and pastries, and they also have a selection of espresso machines for sale. Service was fast but just okay and could definitely be a little friendlier. I ordered an Americano, which they call a “Canadiano” on the menu—a small detail I actually loved. Unfortunately, the coffee itself was very average. It lacked the rich espresso flavour and creaminess I was hoping for and tasted more like a diluted coffee. I also noticed the takeout cup wasn’t sealed very well, which isn’t ideal when you’re taking it to go. Overall, I really liked the vibe and the concept, but for me, the coffee didn’t live up to the atmosphere. I’d come back to enjoy the space, but I’d hope for a better cup next time.
