Sad to see Fallons loose it s warm welcome and good food . I had very unpleasant surprise twice with my food , Yorkshire pudding came with a surprise crunch (what appeared like plastic ) I brought it to the kitchens attention the response was( " it was carbon build up from the ovens not plastic" ) with that detail given points towards that the ovens aren't deep cleaned to Hygiene Standards the secondary surprise was the veg were spiced to the point of uneatable to which wasnt on the menu description!!!! Who puts spiced veg with a roast , and to be honest the veg were pre cooked just as the yorkshire pudding at least a day in advance they should be ashamed that it was let out of the kitchen in that state . I would also question the beef as in its origin (not Irish that's for sure ) Oh as for the five star hotel prices for dinner is shocking . There are better experiences outside of the town and for value for your money too , I won't be returning again . Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €80–90

Extremely disappointing experience at Fallons of Kilcullen. We arrived for an early dinner with our two young children and from the start it was clear the place was completely disorganised. Multiple items we ordered were unavailable (roast beef, roast chicken, chicken wings, lasagna), meaning we had to keep changing our order several times. Drinks took around 25 minutes to arrive, and after waiting 45 minutes, we still hadn’t received even our starters. Meanwhile, tables seated after us were served before us. We eventually had to leave without eating and scramble to find food elsewhere for our children. While staff apologised and mentioned a change in management, this does not excuse such poor service and lack of basic organisation. As locals, we won’t be returning. The experience we had does not reflect the high rating shown here, so I would encourage others to think twice. We will never be back here again. Very poorly run and extremely frustrating.

Very disappointing experience from start to finish. I made a booking for my sons christening for 9 adults. I reconfirmed on the phone and in person in the run up to the event, both times being met with an abrupt staff member. On the day we were seated at two different tables despite giving weeks of notice for the group booking.

During the meal, one table's starters were forgotten which left the other table waiting with their food so we could eat together. We were seated right next to a door which had staff and customers walking through our two parties with a door banging each time. Orders had to be given to more than one staff member as they seemed to forget. The menu had a good selection of food, however when the food arrived it was only average and lacked flavour.

What was meant to be a lovely family gathering after Covid lockdown ended up as a split affair. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend Fallons.
