Best ice cream shop on West beach. Owner is so nice. Has gf cones as well which most of the places down here dont!

Such a cute little ice cream shop with fair prices and great value. Super patient with kids and was just patient overall. Will definitely visit again.

We stopped in at Famous Rome Ice Cream based on their outdoor sandwich board of colorful ice cream cone choices. We opted for some tried and true basics, although I have a feeling kids would love this place! In fact, as we drove by on our way out of town, several families were heading inside. It feels happy, colorful, and bright inside - nice on a winter day. I believe it was the owner that helped us and he was as friendly as could be. He answered all our questions about the differences between gelato and ice cream too. We tried the tiramisu gelato and the chocolate chip cookie dough in a waffle bowl. Cute place!!
