Recently, I visited Fant'asai, nestled within the PH'East store, with a curious palate and high hopes for a unique culinary experience. The restaurant, which seemed promising, offered an intriguing mix of dishes. Upon arrival, I noticed the ambiance was casual and inviting, setting a good stage for a culinary adventure. However, the service left something to be desired. The attendant appeared somewhat detached and not fully acquainted with the menu, which dampened the initial excitement. Despite this, the wait for our food was pleasantly brief, a redeeming factor in the service experience. Our meal consisted of Puerto Rican fried rice and Mongolian chicken. The Mongolian chicken was the star of the evening - flavorful, well-seasoned, and simply delicious. It was a dish I would happily recommend. On the other hand, the Puerto Rican fried rice, while enjoyable, didn't quite hit the mark in terms of authenticity. It was good but fell short of capturing the essence of true Puerto Rican fried rice. Portion sizes were generally adequate, though the serving of Mongolian chicken seemed a bit scant, leaving me wanting just a bit more. Despite these mixed feelings, the culinary journey at Fant'asai was overall a positive one. The menu still piques my interest, and I remain eager to explore other dishes in the future. In conclusion, Fant'asai offers a mixed bag - a promising venue with potential for a fantastic dining experience, slightly marred by service inconsistencies and portions. However, the quality of the dishes, particularly the Mongolian chicken, ensures I'll be back to try more of what they have to offer. Hopefully, future visits will see improvements that elevate the entire dining experience to match the quality of their best dishes. I don't usually leave a review because I generally eat my food and enjoy my day. However, the food, service and attitude compelled me to leave a review. I ordered the pepper steak and there was more onions and bell peppers than steak. I asked the cashier if there was a mistake or If I ordered the wrong size and he almost didn't even acknowledge me. It felt like I was bothering him. And If I am not mistaken it is standard practice for food service workers to remove piercing and jewelry. I guess the cashier didn't get the memo because I honestly thought his multiple face and lip piercing were going to fall into my food. The food is overpriced, the servings are small and deceptive, and when you make a general inquiry for an issue with your food you will be met with disdain, disinterest and opposition to help rectify the situation. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
