Do not confuse "Farmhouse" Kitchen with anything related to say.....Cracker Barrel! No grits here! You will not find a 3-tooth Me-Maw readying vittles for those deriving pleasure from digestive dozing brought on by a porch rocker. For the Thai initiated, you'll find the usual suspects: Tom Yum, Larb, Crab Fried Rice, curries, etc. The flavors are quite punchy, vibrant and bright. You'll enjoy the varying textures and range of flavors of your dishes. I ordered light... in terms of quantity. My shrimp app was comprised of 3 pieces, deftly fried and plump, atop shreds of toasted coconut, cabbage, ginger and spices and all to be eaten wrapped in the accompanying leafy greens. The wings, tender, and crisply coated were given a tangy, sweet, finger-sticky sauce treatment. The fried basil leaf garnishes showed attention to the small flavorful details here. My steamed vegetable side of cabbage, zucchini disks, carrots, and green beans still had a nice crunch. Bravo! Pro tip: Ask for yours without chef's hair. A long strand revealed itself, brazenly, after I lifted the last of the tender cabbage leaves to my lips! I'm the kinda guy who absolutely refuses to pay one penny more for ANY extra ingredient NOT listed in the dishes description!! Eh, life is short. No harm, no foul! I washed it all down with a Thai tea limeade which refreshed with an herby tang. Get it! Oh, and that loop-de-loop straw!!! Yes! Well played Farmhouse Kitchen Thai Cuisine!
