After a long walk around Hakusha Son-so Garden, come to this cafe and have a rest here. Good wine is the best drinks of Farmoon. It might be nice to try great tea.

Many guests find the staff attentive. This place is notable for its prompt service. The spectacular atmosphere will be exactly just what you need after a hard working week. Google users are quite generous with this spot: it was rated 4.6 stars.

Is 6 stars possible? This place would earn them Dining here is like dining inside a chef’s home kitchen while they are crafting their next best dish. They have a table by the kitchen where you get to talk to them as they prepare your food, and you can see how they are masters of their craft. Ask them for their recommendations and you won’t be disappointed. Menu is limited, but it is clearly by design. This is not the typical 10 page menu with 10 dishes per category Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: They have few options but are really good Dietary restrictions: They accommodate the best that they can

Farmoon is more than just a café—it’s an experience rooted in mindfulness and slow living. The space itself feels calm and intentional, inviting you to slow down and truly be present. The food was absolutely delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully presented. You can tell there’s care in every detail. The staff were warm, welcoming, and made the experience feel even more special. If you’re in Kyoto and looking for a quiet, grounding place to enjoy a meal, I can’t recommend Farmoon enough. So happy I stumbled upon this gem! The lunch set was made of brown rice porridge with few veggie side dishes so beautifully presented. However, it was the freshly made tofu dessert that stole my heart - it was both hearty and subtly sweet, just to hit the right spot. The design makes you feel both at home and at a gallery :) and the service is adorable!! Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
