Fat Harrys is pretty near Sandown Pier. This restaurant offers you to try good fish & chips. It's a pity, the staff is downscale as many guests mention. Fat Harry's could improve by selling proper scampi, having tartar sauce, having mushy pea and spam fritters, like it states they sell on the menu, and serving decent quality chips.

i couldnt get gluten free fish and chips as the fryer was broken, so the guy did me a plain cod on the griddle , i sprinkled with fine ground black pepper and that was one of the best bits of fish i have eaten, fresh, perfectly cooked and completely delicious. thank you fat harrys, see you next time i visit from margate.
