Come here for a drink after a long walk around Watkins Museum of History. Try nicely cooked chicken fingers, classic burgers and onion sandwiches to form your opinion about this confectionary restaurant. Taste good cheesecakes. Here you may have good margaritas. Guests don't like lemonade at Fat Shack.

Food delivery is a big benefit of this place. The professional staff welcomes people all year round. If you want to experience fine service, you should go to this spot. Prices are found average here. From the visitors' viewpoint, the atmosphere is calm. But google users rated this confectionary restaurant and it didn't get a high rating.

We came during lunchtime, and the place was completely empty. I ordered wings. They came out first and they were completely burnt extra crispy. Taste like old Grease. The fries were OK, but they didn’t give us enough. My youngest son ordered a burger. He said it was OK a little dry. We also had the mac & cheese bites and Those were really good.. My oldest son got one of those sandwiches, but it looks so sloppy. I don’t even know what it was. He took two Bites and was done. He ordered the fried Oreo cookies in those were over fried too completely dry. They put them in a bag and all the powder Sugar was at the bottom of the bag. It was sloppy and gross and dry. The server was friendly, a young kid, but that’s about it. It’s not a place that I would recommend and I will not be returning. It was a waste of money. Somebody owe me $40. Came in late night and had a very disappointing experience overall. 1. The food quality was far below expectations. The mac and cheese bites and onion rings were clearly frozen—not fresh. What stood out is that the onion rings were specifically presented as being made in-house, which did not match what was served. 2. The burger patty itself was actually seasoned well, but everything else fell apart. The bun was thin and broke down immediately, and the burger sauce was thin, watered down, and lacking flavor. Most of the sauces had that same runny consistency. 3. There is also a serious issue with the restroom setup. It uses a code to enter but does not properly prevent someone from walking in while occupied. I asked staff how it worked beforehand, wasn’t given clear instructions, and someone walked in on me while I was using it. 4. When I brought this up, the front cashier was dismissive and repeatedly responded with “I can’t control that,” with no attempt to take ownership or escalate the issue. When I asked for management or ownership contact information, I was refused and instead asked to provide my own information. I also had to insist on receiving a drink I had already paid for. 5. Between the food quality, misleading representation of items like the onion rings, lack of accountability from staff, and a legitimate privacy concern with the restroom, this was a very poor experience. I would not return. If I was Tom Armenti, Kevin Gabauer, and most notably Mark Cuban, I would be very disappointed and more importantly obsessively to focused and determined to change the entire Fat Shack culture in Lawrence, KS starting with the unnamed private owner and management who reportedly rejected my request for their information and demanded I produce my information instead. Completely unnecessary, inappropriate, and unethical. I'm sending an email to corporate so I can be contacted directly about these issues, most importantly safety and privacy of the restrooms.
