We stayed as a family for a week after Christmas. 5 stars, without question. You feel like you're staying with friends, everyone is warm, the rooms are great, the food is great. The OberstaufenPlus card is also worth its weight in gold, as it offers free access to the surrounding mountain railways even in winter or entry to the leisure pool on bad days. The starling nest is great for those on a budget. We were completely satisfied. Our room was a bit older but everything was very clean. Very nice hosts. What I would like to note, however, is that the outdoor trampoline, toys for children, etc. could use a little more care. You should also sort out defective children's toys from time to time.
