We came to the restaurant and immediately noticed several empty tables inside and on the terrace. We simply asked if we could sit at one of them, but were told very rudely that they were all reserved, even though there were no reservation signs. We were with a baby and just wanted to have a quick dinner because we were exhausted after travelling. We politely asked them to check the system and possibly offer us one table, but the waiter was extremely rude and practically shouted at us. I then checked the restaurant’s website and found several available tables, so I made a reservation online while literally standing outside the restaurant. When I went back inside and said that I had a reservation, they tried to interrupt me and tell me to leave before I could even explain. Thankfully, the bartender eventually checked the system and handled the situation professionally. During the order, we also specifically asked if all our food could be brought together because our baby was tired and going to bed soon, and we didn’t want to stay long. Our request was completely ignored because they said they have their own rules and everyone has to follow them. We respect the traditions and culture of different countries, and people can enjoy their food however they like. But when a customer comes to a restaurant, pays for their food and makes a simple request to have everything served together, I don’t think this is unreasonable. Customers should have the choice of whether they want to eat their food together or separately. We waited 1.5 hours for a steak that takes around 4 minutes to cook. The restaurant was not even particularly busy — the delay was simply because of the way they choose to serve food. The staff were extremely rude, inflexible and unprofessional, and seemed completely unwilling to listen to the customer. WE WAS IN SHOCK WITH SUCH A POOR SERVICE.
