this 5 star is all for Renzo. i came to filiberto’s for the first time and i had the pleasure of meeting Renzo. he’s absolutely amazing. it’s currently 2:40am and Renzo is smiling, incredibly friendly, and puts true care into the work he does. seriously, this is the most sincere person i’ve ever met, especially for a drive through at 2:40 am. thank you Renzo, you’ve made me a regular!! Ok. To be truthful, I was not expecting anything much when we walked into Filiberto's restaurant. The menu above the register has seen some time but was PACKED with options. After a few minutes of perusing our options, my daughter and I opted for the fish tacos and an order of chips and pico salsa. We were given our receipt and we found our seats. After maybe 5 minutes, our number was called. Daughter brought the tray back to the table and I was SHOCKED. The tray was FULL of food! A large basket of warm tortilla chips sat next to a nice sized cup of FRESH pico de gallo. The steaming battered fish tacos were on doubled corn tortillas with cabbage & a delicious sauce with a bit of Pico. I have not had such good tacos in a very long time. The chips and salsa were amazing and all you wanted to do was keep eating!! I'm sold. My only markdown was on the atmosphere which gave the vibes of a fast food restaurant. Not a big deal. The dining area was clean. I will go back to Filiberto's when in the area next time....and until then, I'll be drooling at the thought of fish tacos and pico.
