Besides Great Pyramid of Cholula, visit Finca Ensamble in the vicinity. To taste perfectly cooked hamburgers, pizza and laing is a really nice idea. Visit this place and have delicious craft beer, wine or ale. Degust great coffee.
You can enjoy live music in the evening. If you look through the visitors' reviews, the staff is friendly at this bar. Fast service is something guests agree upon here. Finca Ensamble provides you with a great choice of dishes for reasonable prices. The nice decor and comfortable ambiance let clients feel relaxed here. Mixed bag, but still a recommend for certain things. First off, it's very confusing, as both Finca Ensamble and Imperio de Malta (a craft brewery) are listed for this location. But the craft beer list is only three deep, and from Raza in Puebla. No idea what the deal is there. The atmosphere is lovely. It really is a great place to hang out, with a breezy outdoor area with plenty of shady spots. Casual picnic tables with benches. The craft beer is quite expensive for the area, and there are only a few to choose from. Luckily, Raza is a a great brewery, and what there is, is good. It's a lovely place to enjoy a pint, but you will pay a large premium over the going rate. The pizza seemed promising based on the beautiful oven and the menu description. Unfortunately, it needs a rework, particularly the crust. No yeasty fermentation notes, no chew. Badly lacking salt. Uncooked flour layer on bottom (use corn meal for this guys, or semolina, this is basic stuff). Stodgy, badly undercooked interior, and extremely pale exterior. Pear is barely there, you can't taste it at all. Cheese is flavorless. I recommend visiting Cerdo Picante in Puebla and getting a pizza lesson. 2/10 Extremely friendly, attentive service. All in all, dissapointing food, but a great little spot that we'll return to and try something else at some point.
